Pneumatic Shear

Baileigh’s SH-5216A sheet metal air shear is the perfect complement to any fabrication or HVAC shop where 16 gauge (Mild Steel T.S. 64,000 PSI) or lighter material needs to be sheared. This powerful pneumatic shear can cut at speeds of 20 strokes per minute when high production is required. This air shears capacity is 16 gauge mild steel by up to 52” wide sheet metal.

Our air shears are ruggedly built of all steel plate construction to last decades of use. The pneumatic system requires only compressed air and no electrical power to function. There are front and back material supports as well as side guides. A manual back gauge that has a hand wheel for quick adjustments is standard, and is perfect for those larger runs where repeatability is required. This air shear has a simple foot pedal control for engaging the shearing blade carriage.

This well built pneumatic shear uses high chromium carbon blades for long life. These blades have multiple cutting surfaces for extended life between re-sharpening. This machine offers a great return on your investment dollars.
