Baileigh’s BS-20A is a fully automatic band saw that can feed a bar or bundle of metal for production sawing requirements. This horizontal sawing machine hydraulically clamps the material while it is being cut as the feed table and clamping system is positioning for the next cut. This system cuts the material, lifts the cutting bow, feeds out the proper linear amount, clamping it in place as the saw descends for the next cut.
The BS-20A automatic bandsaw has a heavy duty in feed and out feed table capable of handling 5000 lbs of material. This metal saw uses a powerful hydraulic linear feed system that is coupled to encoders for extremely precise feeds every time. The feed system also comes standard with a bundling system for feeding multiple bars of stock at the same time. This feature drastically increases production rates for large jobs.
The main hydraulic vise at the cutting bows head has an overhead vise as well as a side vise. This automatic band saw uses industrial grade hydraulics for the feed system, bundling system, vise, and to feed and retract the cutting bow. This metal cutting horizontal bandsaw comes standard with a variable speed metal chip auger that works in conjunction with the powerful industrial coolant system that together keeps the machine clean.
Some standard features on this powerful automatic bandsaw are broken blade shut off, patented blade tension devise, halogen lighting, dual descent feed arm, and an easy to use programming control unit. Additional features are a large industrial grade 5 hp motor that uses an inverter drive for variable speed and overload protection. This machine has a 13” X 18” sawing capacity and comes standard with a 1” blade.
