CNC Automatic Circular Cold Saw
The CS-70NC is a CNC automatic carbide cold saw that is a high performance sawing solution for cutting high alloy, carbon, non-ferrous, and tool steel grade materials with ease. It utilizes an extremely heavy duty design that has the carbide saw blade mounted to a ridged blade containment system tied to a heavy hydraulic pivot system (note: servo to ball screw is available if required). This heavy containment system and pivot allow for little vibration producing only the highest tolerances and surface finish.
The hopper can accommodate 20’ sticks of bar, tubing, etc., but can be specified in other sizes as well. The hydraulic lifter separates one bar and drops it to the servo controlled feeder. The servo controlled feeder uses sensors to accurately find the beginning of the bar and via an encoder feeds the bar to have a small end cut off. An automated drop feeder puts the bad cut (front and back end of the bar) off into a separate scrap bin to be recycled and puts the proper cut offs in the material bin. The servo feeder accurately feeds the bar ever time to within tenths of one thousandth. The bar once loaded is hydraulically clamped on three sides to securely hold the material during the sawing process. While the material is being cut the servo feeder is repositioning itself for the next feed. This is one incredible CNC automatic circular cold saw that can saw to extremely tight tolerances with a fantastic finish and doesn’t require further steps of machining or facing.
Additional features on this CNC automatic carbide cold saw is the blade rub guidance system on all sides of the blade that ensure no blade deflection upon entry to the cut as well as through the cut. This also takes out any vibration that extends the carbide blade life and improves on the finish and tolerances of the cut. An operator touch screen interface that is easy to use and understand allows for easy program changes and stores hundreds of jobs. A pressurized mist system extends blade life and increases productivity.
