Abrasive Cut Off Saw
Abrasive Saws
Our abrasive cut off saw line is ruggedly built using heavy duty castings at the base and vice, as well as the pivoting neck. This heavy construction has no flex so a tighter hold of the product is achieved along with a very straight cut considering the pivot point and head are so rigid. This rigidity also reduces some noise compared to tin or steel framed machines.
An abrasive chop saw is the perfect machine for fabrication shops that are cutting a lot of tubing, pipe, angle iron, channel, rod, and much more. Though thickness of the material doesn’t deter the machine, these machines excel in thinner gauge material like mild steel and stainless steel tubing.
The AS-350M is a 14” abrasive cut off saw that is mounted on a very sturdy metal base, bringing the work height up to a very comfortable position for any shop employee. This machine requires 220 volts, with three phase of power to operate. It has a powerful 7.5 hp motor that turns the blade at 4300 rpm. This abrasive cut off saw has a mitering head that can cut at 45 degrees left or right, which is perfect for cutting angle iron. This machine has a taper lock vise that comes in handy for large production runs. Finally it includes a mechanical stop for repeatable cuts. This is a nice complement to busy fabrication or weld shops.
