Baileigh PL-1440 Metal Lathe
The PL-1440 gear head metal lathe has a Mitutoya ®DRO (digital read out) as standard on the power fed X & Y axis. The precision ground and hardened ways are further protected by a Turcite-B® coating, which offers years of protection to the ways when under the most grueling turning conditions.
This gear head metal lathe has an industrial gear system that allows for taping, turning, and polishing with a range of speeds from 40 to 2500 RPM. Many features are standard like the Halogen light, splash guards and much more. This is a great engine lathe for any fabrication or machine shop.
