Five Station Hydraulic Ironworker
This five station hydraulic ironworker has 132 tons of punching and 179 tons of shearing and notching power. It is a dual operator machine where one operator can be working the punching station while the other can be shearing or notching at the same time with no loss of power or speed at each station. This is truly a workhorse machine for any steel house or fabrication shop. The quality design uses a heavy duty electro welded plate steel frame, as well as industrial grade hydraulics and industry standard electrical components.
Like most Baileigh hydraulic ironworkers this one uses the best design in the industry that employs pure vertical motions at each station with NO PIVOT. This type of machine eliminates the harsh snap in the punching station common on other brands. By eliminating the harsh snap the machine has less fatigue on it and the tooling lasts much longer.
The punching station on the SW-132 hydraulic ironworker comes standard with an oversized work table that has material stops and is scaled for easy setup. These tables can be easily broken down or completely taken off in seconds to allow for channel or angle iron punching. Seven punches are included as standard. We offer round, oblong, oval, rectangle and square tooling as well. This section also can be fitted with our optional tube and pipe notcher, and press brake tooling.
The shearing station has an oversized material table and a powerful hydraulic clamp to hold the material securely to the table. This eliminates any lifting of the material when shearing, extending blade life and providing a square sheared part. Standard on all Baileigh hydraulic ironworkers, there is no expensive slug of wasted material created in the shearing station, common on other brands. This section has a plate, solid round and square, and angle shear. An automatic back gauge is standard and very helpful when higher production runs are required.
The notching section of this hydraulic ironworker is perfect for notching out metal plate, angle iron and much more. The notching station also has an oversized table with material stops. This section of the machine can also be outfitted with the optional vee notcher.
