Five Station Hydraulic Ironworkers
We offer the highest quality fully integrated, five station hydraulic ironworkers on the market today. Our line consists of five models ranging from 50 tons to 132 tons of punching power with shearing and notching power ranging from 50 tons to 179 tons. Our quality design uses vertical motion at each station with no pivots, lever arms, or linkages to produce the function at hand.
Five Stations on Ironworker
The five stations that are included are the punching station, solid shear, angle shear, plate shear, and notching station. A Baileigh hydraulic ironworker includes these stations fully tooled as standard. Other standards included, oversized work tables, scaled mechanical stops and heavy duty scaled back gauges for repeatability.
Ironworker Punching Station
Vertical motion at the punching station is very important as it transfers full power to the punch and die alleviating any interference that drastically increases machine and tooling life, compared to pivoting style machines. This also allows for the punching motion to be extremely quiet and produces a cleaner hole and dropped slug. The punching table can be altered in seconds using quick release handles so configurations like angle iron can be accommodated easily. The punching station of our hydraulic iron workers has a quick release head and receptor for fast tooling changeovers. A unique swing away stripper is standard on all models. An optional channel iron offset die holder, tube and pipe notching device, and single and multi V brake can be used in the punching station.
Hydraulic Ironworker Shears
The solid, angle iron, and plate shears are fully integrated into the machine so you don’t have to buy separate stations to install. Our hydraulic ironworker shears include a quick mechanical product hold down as standard, noting that the 95 and 132 ton machines include hydraulic hold downs as standard. All of our shear stations produce a slug free cut that saves thousands of dollars in material costs over the life of the machine. The standard scaled back gauges come in handy for repeatable cuts, noting that the 84, 95, and 132 ton machines come with an automatic back gauge for additional production. An optional channel iron shear is quick and easy to remove.
Hydraulic Iron Worker Notching Station
Our hydraulic iron worker has a powerful notching station that is great for taking notches out of angle iron, channel, plate steel and much more. It includes product hold down adjustments to extend blade life. This section can also be fitted with our optional vee notcher for corner notching sheet or plate.
SW-50 and SW-60 Hydraulic Ironworkers
The SW-50 and SW-62 hydraulic ironworkers are single operator machines that come standard with the 5 fully loaded integrated stations. The SW-84, SW-95 and SW-132 are dual operator machines and each section (punching section or shearing and notching section) can be run at full capacity simultaneously with no loss of tonnage. The SW-84, SW-95 and SW-132 come standard with halogen lights.
Hydraulic Ironworker Tooling
Finally we offer an array of hydraulic ironworker tooling including round, square, rectangle and oval punches. The five standard integrated stations are simply by far the most highly required, but we do also offer many other optional stations for each section of the machine.
