Straight Sheet Metal Brake Machines
Baileigh’s straight sheet metal brakes are very rigidly built out of heavy plate steel that has electro welded frame members that are coupled to a heavy duty truss system for further support. Our straight brake range consists of 4’, 8’, 10’, 12’ & 13’ models to choose from. Of course what size leaf brake you choose will depend on what size sheet you will be working with. We added the 12’ and 13’ foot models to our line-up since some HVAC companies like to work with bigger pieces of sheet metal and some like to rotate them 45 degrees for creasing to give strength to a long duct run. A longer machine is typically more versatile, depending on the gauge required.
A Baileigh straight bend brake is offered in five different gauges. We have 22, 18, 16, 14 and 12 gauge models to choose from. Thus, these machines are perfect for the HVAC shops in the lighter gauges and we also offer machines for heavier gauges as used by the general fabrication shop.
Our sheet metal bender line comes standard with: a solid floor stand, heavy adjustable counter weights to assist with lifting the apron, hardened bending dies, adjustable gaps for different thicknesses, and stop rods for repeatable bend angles every time.
