Sheet Metal Brake – HB-9616
Sheet Metal Hand Brake Machine
The HB-9616 sheet metal brake has been designed and built for decades of use in any demanding HVAC or fabrication shop where there is a requirement for a heavy-duty straight brake. This model has been constructed of heavy plate steel that is electro welded to a heavy duty steel framework. To further enhance the strength of this machine heavy truss rods are used on the upper apron and bottom leaf to ensure crisp creases in the middle of the sheet when bending at full capacity regarding width and thickness.
This sheet metal brake has a bottom leaf bending guide that can be removed when trying to get extremely tight between bends. Like most other Baileigh sheet metal hand brakes, this one comes with adjustable counter weights to assist lifting the bottom leaf. The adjustment helps fine tune the machine for different materials, web widths and thicknesses.
Our HB-9616 straight brake can utilize up to an eight foot piece of material bending mild steel down to 16 gauge thick, or stainless steel down to 20 gauge thick. A heavy top apron lock mechanism securely clamps the sheet before, during and after bending, and doesn’t allow any slippage of the material during the bending process. This sheet metal comes standard with a easy to use gap adjustment for different materials and thicknesses, as well as a degree dial with stop rod for repeatable bends every time.
Baileigh sheet metal hand brakes are built for years of production and are offered at an affordable price. We carry this model in stock for quick deliveries. For more information and availability, please call your Baileigh representative.
