Finger Brake
The BB-14418 box and pan brake has an ample 12’ wide beam that comes standard with 31 fingers in varying sizes. This ample size allows for several bending stations to be set up for various production runs. This ample width also allows for simple creasing of entire sheets of metal, perfect for duct runs. Built from heavy electro welded plate steel, this finger brake can bend at maximum capacity of 18 gauge mild steel with a solid crisp crease even in the middle of the apron.
Two heavy counter weights assist lifting the leaf with ease. All of the fingers are hardened for long life. A heavy truss rod system is on the apron and leaf to ensure there is no flexing when bending within capacity of this finger brake. A metered bend angle indicator is perfect for those one off bends, while a stop rod system is standard for repeatability on those larger runs. A gap adjustment on this box and pan brake is done by hand wheel when changing the gauge of the material.
